Hi All
Am formulating a database for something at work. Is there a way you can fill a cell with colour? if so how?
Thanks in advance

which version you using,
I expect it is posible to have query that the results change a colour if they are = X, but as access guru's keep reminding me it isn't excel....0 -

I had a Google around too but couldn't find anything on colouring individual cells -as slackda said Access isn't excel, you can specify field and record colours when designing the table but not sure about cells.
Been many a year since I used Access though, if you'd asked about mySQL or Postgres I might have been more use.
Jewels โ just copy and paste the link, the forum software will automatically convert it to a hyperlink. Or if you want to be a bit cleverer This is a link0 -
How do you mean?
sry, i mean do you want it to always be green, or do you want it to go green when a positive number is entered?
I am assuming that we are talking about the data tables atm, which i don't think is possible. as the information isn;t held in a Cell format like excel, it is a row of data that you can colour, but you can't colour just row 45 for example, its beena while since i did any proper access work so i a a it rusty.
You may be able to colour the results when in a form and driven from a Qry though.0 -
