I'm considering doing the CIPFA qualification and was wondering if anyone has done it/is doing at the moment? Any feedback on the content and how you've found it would be helpful.

    I qualified with CIPFA about 15 years ago as I worked for a local authority and they paid for my study. At that time it was almost wholly geared to local authority/health board type accounting which is ok if you plan to work there. As I ended up mostly doing work for the council's trading companies I found it of little benefit, apart from being able to being able to add the letters CIPFA to my name.
