I have a new client who, as well as other income, is employed and claims mileage allowance at the HMRC approved rate from his employer. I thought that meant he needed to have a P11D, or have I lost the plot. His employer has not provided one and said that he doesn't need it - help please.

Mileage under the hmrc rate doesn't need reporting on a p11d
