Unit 11 NVQ or DIploma Any differences?

Hi everyone,
I just received Unit 11 book from ebay , I am doing Diploma , but the book is for NVQ pathay users.
Does anyone know if it make any difference with Unit 11. i suppose it is the same course but told that NVQ student get more complecated staff.
please help I am really confused;(
