single asset pool or main pool??

hi, i am bit confused on this question.
a sole trader who bought a car for £16,000 on 1/1/2010, has emissions of 144g/km, the car is used 80% business. and i need to work out the capital allowance!
i put down the car in the main pool as its bought on 1/1/2010, but my answer put the car under single asset pool. please someone explain why

When a car has private use for a sole trader it goes into a single asset pool
