Tax Return Information - benefits?

I have a client who was involved in a motorcycle accident in September last year and has not worked since. He is self-employed so I will be preparing his accounts as normal. Does anyone know what other information I will need for the tax return as he was on sick benefit only during the rest of the year? Thanks.
