If someone sells a property that they have lived in and rented out then moved back into then rented out again do they get the last 3 years classed as PPR twice when they moved out both times or do they only get it the first time?

It's just the last 3 years of ownership, I believe.0

Don't quote me, last time I did PPR was in my exams in 2006
However, I am reasonably sure that the last 3 years of ownership can be ignored, aka classed as PPR even if it wasn't. I believe.
Eg, sold in Dec 2009. Lived in as PPR from purchase then moved out in Jan 2007 and let out from then til sale. No adjustment needed for CGT, all allowed as PPR.0 -
absence for any reason between the ppr is deemed occupation
last 3 years in total for any reason is also deemed!
i am sure you can use both of them together!0
