Hi there, I am thinking of applying to become a Member In Practice, but because I am also employed I only want to be licensed in bookkeeping at this stage, due to time constraints.
The thing is, I'm not sure that potential clients (probably sole traders) would want someone like myself to just complete their day-to-day bookkeeping, without doing other tasks such as VAT & self-assessment.
I had the idea to approach a local accountant to ask if I could work alongside them, & refer clients to them, should the client need more than just bookkeeping.
Does anyone think this is a good idea?
Thanks for any help/advice.
