CT deduction for pension contributions

I have no problems with company CT relief for contributions to a pension scheme, even a personal pension but does anyone know if this also applies to a SIP?
As far as I am aware the SIP in question is registered properly and this is the only reference I can find on the HMRC website but when they say it is ok (subject to the WEN stuff as usual) for a registered scheme do they include SIP's in this category?

For anyone viewing this one, I can confirm that I have discovered a reference which tells me that my client can make a contribution from his company to his SIP as long as it is properly set up and registered.
I had an idea this was the case but knowing SIP's to be more restrictive than other schemes I just had a sudden lack of confidence.
