Confused by Kaplan Unit 30

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help? The Unit 30 study text keeps on confusing me - for example on page 76 (chapter 5) it gives an example and when the Customer A B and C are recorded on the Subsidiary (Sales) Ledger they are recorded as a DR. When I then completed page 77 Activity 1, I used the same formula (Europe Asia and America in Subsidiary (Sales) Ledger as DR, but the answer on page 77 shows them all as CR??

I am really struggling with this kind of thing with the book, can anyone shed some light onto this?
