There are may external regulations affecting the accounting practice!

Would you as an accountant preparing final accounts be able to change the depreciation charges for the fixed assets from one year to the next? If yes explain why? and If no explain why? what requlations allows/disallows that?

If you are dealing with pay roll, would you be allowed to pay TAX/NI deducted from employee's pay when your company has sufficent cash flow to allow it to pay to HMRC? what regulations control that?

same for VAT returns and tax payment!

If you are in the and entertainment industry (Pubs and Clubs) would be able to employ any Tom, **** and Harry as a cook? What qualifications are required by the loacal authority for a cook to prepare and serve meals to the public?

what about playing radio on your internal/external PA system to keep your customers/employee in a joyful mood?

If your company is listed on the stock market, what requirements does your company have to meet to remain a quoted company?

If your employer is a registered LTD company , what does the company house require your employers to meet it's obligations as a Ltd company?
