Hi there - Hope everybody is studying hard!!!! I am working through previous exam papers and noticed some calculations on indexation factors and taper relief for non-business assets. Not trying to be funny but these are not mentioned at all in my study companion-will these be in out exams or where those just old companions????
Please reply exams closer than we think!!!!

Hi Ig, Think these were the old ways of calculating gains on CGT.
Finance Act 2008 simplified everything for CGT and 08/09 onwards is the new way of calculating CGT (and the way your course companion has it set out no doubt for 09/10 exmas is 100% correct!)0
