Damaged goods

Does anybody know if it would be an allowable cost if somebody had damaged a customers item while out on a job & paid them a small amount of compensation for it, say for a greenhouse

Can't see why not, but I would suggest keeping plenty of evidence because it may just look like the client wanted a new greenhouse for their garden. I would suggest a invoice/bill from the customer with details.
