DFS ratios

i do wish they would stick the same method of answer

ie

320 / 1392 x 365 = 83.9 days -their answer 84 days

208 / 1155 x 365 = 65.7 days - their answer 65.7 days

how will i tell if i should round up or not??

Were these 2 answers in the same task?

yes inventory turnover days 2007 and 2006

but then the rest of the answers are not rounded they are all decimals

oh how confused dont want to lose silly marks if i dont round up or down

I was always told by my tutor to round to the nearest day... seems silly to have .4 of a day etc.

I was told that too. But in all the past exams it is shown to two decimal places.
So I think I will just put two answers i.e 85 days or 85.6 days just to be safe. At least then you are bound to get it right

i do that too. it shows the answer you actually got and what it is sensibly

But then is it the case that they only read the first answer.....................you lot should know we always get told that!......................hey only kidding!:laugh: I always wonder the same. You never know what to round it too. Surely we wouldnt be penalised for our rounding being slightly different?............or would we??????
