Well - a fair exam I think! Happy person here!
NB. Don't put any specific details here until after 3pm - for those sitting in different time zones.

Im worried, I liked the paper..... it was no where near as bad as I thought it would be0
-
Yay, go Anna! Glad to hear that!
Flying Scarlet, I'm glad you liked the paper and I would say that's a good reason to stop worrying! It's not like you can do anything about it now and not much use worrying up until the day the results come through!
Well done for the both of you! (and anyone else who went there and actually filled in more then just their name for that matter)0 -
Yes, a fair paper I would say also...no nasty surprises...but my hand is aching now from all that writing we had to do.....anyone else got the same impression that written parts were heavy??0
-
I managed to finish in 2.20 minutes and was first out - I did start re-reading my answers, but decided that I wasn't actually achieving anything new.FMAAT - AAT Licensed Member in Practice - Pewsey, Wiltshire0

I am quite happy too! Nice paper, the three things I desperately did not want to come up didn't and the things I revised yesterday came up and so they were fresh in my mind. Finished in 2.45 and checked all my calculations again, which seemed to work. Didn't bother re reading all the written parts as I couldn't change any of it anyway.....
So I feel quite pleased although I feel with this sort of exam you can never tell if you have passed or not.....
Now have the afternoon the revise for DFS.... as soon as I shift this painful elbow from the PEV exam!
Well done everyone!0 -

Flying Scarlet - that sounds like a good thing. If you're confident that's positive, surely? Don't underestimate yourself.FMAAT - AAT Licensed Member in Practice - Pewsey, Wiltshire0 -

Yes, not a bad exam all in all.... took me 2 1/4 hours and my it was wordy... Roll on 3pm!0
-
Bit too wordy I thought - spent ages going over the calcs and formulas then hardly any came up - the only thing is I got a complete blank spot with the FOAR got one figure thought it didn't look right and changed it - to find out after I was probably right first time ah well resit for me I think - onwards to BTC tomorrow0

Felt ok on this exam, inspite of all the panicking over the weekend. Probably missed a tiny bit on a question in section 2, but loved section 1!0 -
I feel quietly confident at the moment, but I know the minute someones starts posting their answers on here I will go to pieces as they are rarely the same as mine!!!0

What did you all get for your variances?
I got:
1,700 adverse
4800 adverse
Nil
3600 adverse
5800 favourable
and the one I hated and probably got wrong.....22,200 adverse on fixed.0 -

I'm pretty sure I got those answers too- so either we're both right or we're both wrong. I checked the fixed overhead one about a hundred times and kept getting the same answer.
fingers crossed!0 -
How do you all remember? - I can only recall the "nil" one0
-
OMG! I think I may well have got 5 out of 6 there!! I mucked up the one with Nil & ended up with a 3600 fav but that shouldnt be too bad??10

What did you get for your standard cost? I did this 2 ways as I wasn't sure if they wanted total standard cost of production or standard cost per unit?
I have:
Cost Cost per unit
36,000 0.04
1200 0.01
7200 0.08
14,400 0.16
55,500 0.62
