can someone explain how this works as i am not making headway with this concept at all

i am doing june 09 paper and cannot understand why on 1.1 you do the working for 2008/9 and then add it back in again (the 480 for the music system)

everything else i can get but this is just not making sense

Its cause Jackie still has to be assessed for 6 months as this is the amount of time in that tax year that she had it before she bought it. So you add the 6 months she had it then take away the 6 months after she bought it.

I got that wrong when I did it too!

this is killing me, i am remembering bits of what goes where but it throws you off completly when i forget something.

Not very good at revising for two subjects. I keep jumping back and forward and forgetting silly things. For example I was feeling pretty confident about Rec of Prof from Op to N.C.F until I did one yesterday and completely missed off the Depreciation cause I drummed it into my head to not forget Gain/Losses on Disposal so remembered that but forgot Depreciation! Aaaagh

The Standards are a total (brain fart as you would say). Not a cats chance in hell of remembering any of that for the question!

All in all....................I wish it was Friday afternoon!

mine are usually followed by a huge "DUH!!!" sound from within once i have repeatedly hit myself for being a numpty lol

Now i know what happened to the girl next to me in yesterday's exam!
Will advise that she chews the exam paper more thoroughly tomorrow. Hehe.
