Hello all,

I am due to complete this unit (finally!!) today but have been told that it will not be submitted until the 29th July to AAT..
Does this mean i wont receive my technician certificate until December??

I would be extremely grateful for any knowledge about this :)

Don't think so...should be in August surely. Where have you been studying out of interest?

Does anyone know if the Unit 10 Project HAS to be completed and approved before enrolling for AAT.
If so, any ideas when the deadline date is?? Our college is most likely closed now, does that mean I have to wait until Sept to submit?
If that is the case - i may as well put off the project for a few more months!!

Once you have had your final interview, your tutor will pass your project to internal verfyer. Once the IV has approved the final decision, your results will be reported to AAT. If your results are reported to AAT on 29th July, they should appear on your Statement of Acheivement by 5th of August.

I beleive that AAT issues the certificate once a month. Hope fully you will get your certificate by end of August.

Unit 10 project is a unit to be acheived at a Level 4. You have to be a registered student before you can attempt any of AAT's unit exams

Are you an AAT registered student? If yes, then you can work on your AAT project.

Oops, sorry - I meant enrol for ACCA, dont want to be RE-doing AAT! But your prev reply is hopefully the answer for me, provided my college reports my results on time - and I complete the project in time for verifying.
    Thanks.

I have asked this question too and to the best of my knowledge there are two answers:

For the certificate that AAT send out my course leader has told all the staff that the student results must have been submitted and verified by July 19th.

For ACCA/CIMA exemptions the AAT transfer (only if you have you have requested) the submitted and verified results need to be on a student's record by 6th August. I gather that the transfer takes place around 10th/11th August, but results submitted after 6th do run a risk of not being included.

I recommend that you check your MyAAT record of achievement, and allow up to 48 hours between the submission and verification of your results on the system and it appearing on your record.
