Engagement Letters

Hi

Does anyone have a standard Engagement Letter template and MLR Template that they wouldn't mind sharing?

I have looking for a template for a while, something that isn't too long winded!

The ones that I have seen are all very long and in depth which I don't feel I need. I hae seen one on a website which looked ok but then I felt it was maybe a bit short!

I don't seem to be able to find anything that is in between the two!

Any help greatly appreciated

Sadly I think they need to be long winded. It is a 'cover your arse' letter and if the sh!t hits the fan, you will be glad of a solid LoE.

Use the templates on the MIP part of the AAT site, they are pretty good.

Must agree. They are long winded for a reason. I'm sure if we could get away with saying 'I'm responsible for nothing' then we would just put that. Seriously though as Jenni said have a look at the ones on the AAT MIP section. They are what I use with a little tweking here and there.

Thanks for that, I totally agree with you, it was just that one that I did see was only a page long and I just wondered why the difference and wanted to make sure that I was sending oout the correct information
