Changing onto new standards

Hi,

I'm halfway through my final AAT year doing the diploma route and have completed MAC and personal tax. I also completed professional ethics last year and cash & credit management last year. I'm a distance learner with Premier training. I intended to carry out with this route, and planned to take business tax and DFS in the December exams together with my project.

However, when I've looked into the new standards, I've found that by transferring across, I don't need to do business tax anymore. Additionally, I should be able to my DFS as a computer based assessment, rather than written exam. I attach an interactive guide from the BPP website which enables you to go through and see how this might affect you, in case you have the same good fortune as myself!

http://www.bpp.com/courses/examination-courses/accounting--finance/aat/aat-new-standards/aat-2010-interactive-guide.aspx

Premier Training and AAT have both confirmed it, so it's now official. Can't believe my luck to be honest!
