Hi,

I have always had my c.v laid out in a similar kind of way and over the years it has got me a fair few interviews.

This morning I had a phone call from a profession c.v writing company saying that my c.v wasnt up 2 scratch and for £175 they could re write it for me!!

at this price I declined!

Has anyone had any similar experiences or any advice as to how to acheive the 'perfect' C.V.

i wouldnt worry kerry not saying your c.v isnt important however it sounds like just a sales pitch to me, You have get lots of free resourses on-line on the lay out of a c.v and as you said yourself its worked for you before

Dont believe a word of it. I am responsible for recruiting at my work and as long as the C.V is typed on Word in a sensible format you dont need to employ these rip off companies to do your C.V for you. Of course they are going to say yours is rubbish otherwise how would they make their money!

I am sure if it has worked for you in the past it will work for you in the future.
