It's years since I've had to include state pension on a tax return and this client's pension has all sorts of addtions to the basic state pension, am I right in thinking that the whole thing will be taxable, or are there certain elements that might not be?

State pension
Hi Jodie
Certain elements might not be taxable eg attendance allowance
See here http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/eimanual/EIM76100.htm
for a list of non taxable social security benefits.
Hope this helps.0
