Hello,
The company where I work recently had a show stand (Farnborugh Air Show) where food/drinks were made free available to both our staff at the stand and any potential customers visiting. Can anyone advise whether this type of expense will be allowable for Corp.Tax and will VAT be claimable ?
Thanks for any feedback.

My opinion would be a no for reclaiming the VAT back. This would be classed as entertaining as its for potential customers.
Btw, my Company was also at that show.0 -
Thanks for your reply, one of the benefits of the show is the amount of free goodies that have now been brought back from our stand0
