Hi Lisnic
Same as me! I'm going onto ACCA if I pass MAC and PCT.
I was thinking of doing Law and Tax - so I have one figure based paper and one more written based.
I will definately not be doing Law and Auditing together!0 -
Remember F7 directly underpins the advanced paper P2. Leaving F7 towards end of F's is a good idea so you get to sit P2 1 sitting after...that way you are not out of date when it comes to P2..you will find life much easier than if you have done F7 some time before and have forgotten a lot and/or gone out of date and have to re learn.
Hope that helps

by the way..law and tax (f4 and f6) to start with is an excellent combination as you suggest..

I might also advise not to sit F9 audit and p7 audit together as you need to understand F9 before going on to P7.0

i thought you couldnt sit the Professional Papers until you had finished all the Fundamental papers anyway...or is this not the case?0 -

F8 is audit, not F90 -
Progression rules for ACCA
Exam progression rules
You can attempt up to a maximum of four papers per examination cycle. There are two examination cycles per year:
1 February – 31 July
1 August – 30 January.
Papers must be taken in line with the following module order, however you can attempt the papers within each module in any order:
Knowledge (F1-F3) – available by computer-based exam (CBE) or paper-based format
Skills (F4-F9) – available by paper-based format
Essentials (P1-P3) – available by paper-based format
Options (P4-P7) – available by paper-based format
If your status allows you to enter for papers across modules, please remember that you must complete the papers in order and enter for outstanding papers in your current module if you wish to enter to sit papers in the next module.
Hi there,
These are the formal progression rules - note it is possible to enter across modules but only within those rules, so if you only had F9 left say (note this isn't audit- F8 is audit) from the skills you could enter F9, P1 and P2...
Within a module you can attempt in any order.
Hope that helps
