    Wow, well done you!

How do you get nominated for it? Is it one you enter yourself?

    good luck!! :)

Thanks, You enter yourself. You have to write an entry to explain why you deserve it meeting certain requirements. I really didn't think I stood much chance though as the others all seem to be from the Big 4 and other global organisations. Last years winner founded Eagle Education!

    Congratulations and well done Ian!

Will you be using this as a good marketing opportunity or are your customers completely unaware of the awards or what they might mean?

As far as I can tell I need to pay for myself. Tell me about the price! I have just relocated and spent quite a bit of money doing a conversion and extension.

Not quite sure as yet where I will get the money from. With travel and a hotel for me plus the wife it's getting on for ยฃ750. You only get half a bottle of wine as well so with the drinks we could be getting on a bit.

Most of the others work for big international firms though so I don't think cost is an issue for them.

I will be making some enquiries today.

That'll be why it's dominated by the big firms then!

Best get off the forum and do some work :001_tt2:

    Too right!

Actually I was taking the opportunity to try and get some press coverage. I'm writing a bit of a press release to see what attention it may bring.

It seems to have worked as well. Two local papers have said they are interested. All done and sent lets see if it actually gets printed?!

I also managed to write it in a way where it's still promoting the practice so hopefully it works the treat. Free press coverage (of the right sort) can't be a bad thing!
