I have a client who has made sales of goods to Germany and not charged any VAT. Is this correct?

Found the answer! No VAT if they are a VAT registered company, but charge VAT if they are not VAT registered.0

Zero rated for a VAT registered EU country and standard UK VAT for a non-VAT registered company. Agree?0

Agreed but your client must ask for their German VAT no and confirm that it is a genuine number for goods to be zero rated.0

Ok, thanks. I will get that checked. Thanks.0
