AAT Revision Courses

Ok a bit of a winge but hey here goes.
I live in the NorthWest and have just found out the AAT revision course which i was planning to attend will be held in London.
To be honest am getting a little bit hacked off there will be no way i can attend unless i pay for a hotel either one or to nights plus it is held on a sunday as follows i received an email telling me:-
The MAC revision course will be on Sunday 14 November in London. You will be able to book your place online early next week. I will email you to let you know when this can be done.
Why cant it be held close to the centre of England to give people across the country a chance to attend????

This is the London plan, as I understand it:
Sunday 7 November – DFS
Saturday 13 November – PEV
Sunday 14 November – MAC & BTC
Saturday 20 November – PCR
Sunday 21 November – PTC

Not enough interest.
I had offered to run a 2 day MAC revision class (afterall it is a very big syllabus) over 23rd and 24th October at a location near to East Midlands Airport (pretty central) and had one person who expressed an interest!!Sandy

I used to run revision in Manchester every May and November for 4 years. In recent years, there has not been the same demand, so I've not done revision in Manchester for the last two years.Sandy

thanks for the reply sandy but the course i was looking at attending was the one offered on the students revision events calendar :-
Student revision courses are designed for students that would like extra support before their exams. The courses are run in May and November each year.
Student revision courses are £55 for a whole day (9am - 4pm).0 -

I would advise anyone who thinks they'd like support, and is able to go, to attend Sandy's revision. I travelled from near Gloucester to East Midlands airport to attend the MAC revision in May and it was well worth it
We were only a small group which meant plenty of opportunity to ask questions and go over things.0 -

I attended Sandy's revision course in the East Midlands in May and cannot praise him enough, he was brilliant. I don't think I would have passed PEV without his help so would recommend anyone to make the effort and attend his course.

This thread has only brought forward one person who said I would, to my questionWhy cant it be held close to the centre of England to give people across the country a chance to attend????
So although, you'd like there to be one, I'd like to teach it, there are not enough students who use the discussion forum to make it viable.If I ran a revision day for MAC in Manchester on Sunday 21 November how many students would come?Sandy

I would too - Im in north wales and I find it hard to find revision courses I can get to, but I wont be ready for MAC revision course in November.. Would you run another one? and what other exams would you run revision courses for?0

does anyone have any of the notes or anything from the pev revision course? im re aiking on november 29th and am getting no where fast with it !
