Hi

Was just wondering if there are any people re-sitting the BTC exam at the begining of December and how your getting on with your revision.

I failed in June so having to re-sit but just don't seem to be able to get the hang of it and really want to pass as this was the first exam I have failed and don't want to have to learn the new tax rules.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom to help me pass this exam.

thanks

laura

    BTC december re-sit

I'm having to re-sit Business tax in December but not sure if I can still use the same books I used for June exam???

I know tax changes often and with the new computer way of exams coming up I dont know if it's affecting me at all....

Could anyone confirm that it's exactly the same as June exam?

    Thanks

Yes it is. I got my books at the beginning of the year and am sitting BTC for the first time (and probably wont be the last). I checked with my training provider about this and they confirmed it is the same books, tax rates etc.

    Hi,

Im on Level 4 this year and will be taking my CB Tax exams at the begining of December, The tax year these will be based on are the finance act 2009.

There are a couple of re-sitters in my class and they are having to learn the new tax rates...(but i dont know when they sat their origional) I would guess if you sat your origional exam in June this year it would have been based on the 2008 finance act?? But i dont know what/if any changes were between the two acts.

    Prob best to double check...
