BTC matching rules for shares differ for individuals/companies?

in AAT Level 4 (Level 8 in Scotland)
Osborne don't specify any difference i.e. same day, previous 9 days and pool.

BPP say companies as above, individual is, same day, previous 30 days and pool.

Can anyone clarify at all?

    The matching rules for individuals are not part of the BTC syllabus. You only need to know the rules for companies.

    No, I wish! We start the project after our Business Tax Exam so 1st December! Deadline end March - ekkk! I am doing it on Sales Ledger at work, (I do credit control) so I hope it won't be too horrid... better than a case study me thinks?

    Yeah I did it on paying by BACS as this is something I introduced into the company anyway. Therefore I just had to think of everything that I really did. I dont think I would have liked doing a case study either.
