Do you go to work day before exam or take a day off?

I hate the day before the exam (Monday this time) and I will have crammed all weekend and often go round in pointless circles the day before not achieving anything. I am wondering whether to come to work and not take a day's holiday, to try to distract myself.

I usually give up revising a few days before an exam. I often feel like I'm driving myself crazy looking at the same stuff. And would rather go into the exam calm and rested.0

I go mad the last few days before too as when you look at your notes you start to think you know nothing. My exams are the Monday and the Tuesday so the weekend will be spent looking and thinking I know nothing. Then on the Monday night I will be mega stressed after MAC and look at my BTC book and remember nothing wow stressing even thinking about it!0

That's a similar strategy to mine Jewels - panic now, before exam and after exam!0

Me too the nearer the exam the more I do.
I have mine on the monday and wedesday and have the tuesday off
so will cram on the sat and sun but usually about 3 the day before become knackered and think what the hell then scare myself in the morning.
In the days in between I think about what I could have done/should have done instead of putting it behind me and looking forward (or not) to the next one
OMG they are looming0 -
I always take the day off prior to exam and freak out, my exam this year is a Monday so I have a whole weekend to panic that i know nothing for CRS0

I never take the day off prior to the exam, I normally just take the exam day off, I don't want to use half my holidays up just for exam stuff.0

i've booked the 19th off so that there is a gap between the solid day studying and the exam to get people to explain things for me. most of my holiday gets used for exams (sat them in june) but i don't have anything better to do with my time off anyway and i dont like taking time off without any plans.
not really a good time for me to take time off with it being year end but hey iv got quite ahead0 -
I have to come back to work in the afternoon after both exams always do. So no time off at all for me. :sad:0

well this year i have plenty of annual leave left cause i didnt go on on summer vacation so i am taking two weeks off, one for studying and one for the exams0

I don't take the day off before the exam. I just end up worrying myself that I don't know anything as my mind goes blank when I look at my books that close to exam day!
When I've had afternoon exams, work have given me the morning off so I'm not rushing. My last few exams have been morning exams and I come back to the office after.0 -
I've decided to take 1/2 day holiday Monday AM go to work PM, so I get to sleep in Monday morning because I know I won't sleep on Monday night !!!
Gawd stomach is turning already!0 -
I have booked the day off the day before my DFS exam - it is working day minus one so my busiest day of the month but it has to be done and work were ok about it! : )0
