i know i have always struggled on this but i think i'm getting there. i just don't understand why things like labour efficiency would need to be in £s as i always want to stop at the difference in hours.

why do they not say please work out the cost of the labour efficiency varience? i would remember to carry on with the question then!

a way of remembering for me is that labour means workers and workers wouldnt do anything if we wouldnt pay them so i calculate the hours and the £ ....
