Hi there - wonder if anyone can help me?
It says in my book that you have up to 12 months to amend a return. So if I made a mistake would I have up to 12 months to correct it and there would be no fines or penalties from HMRC. Or would HMRC still have to look into it and they might give me a 30% penalty of lost revenue for not taking reasonable care?
