Hi there

are shareholders not entitled to the profit from other comprehensive income?

I am assuming that dividends are paid from the continuing and discontinued operations of the company and not from other investments Like revalued assets or interest or dividends received. If this is the case whats the reason why?

Is this correct

Also where does the other comprehensive income go
we put the profit from the period for contined and discontinued in the Statement of changes in equity and then this then goes onto the SofFP
but where on the SofFP does the other income go. does it also end up in the retained earning
