Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced wood effect filing cabinets?

I figured many of you will have been there before and will know someone.

They are all too flippin' expensive. Don't buy the cheapest as they don't last. Shop around.

That's all I can say! Don't have any particular recommendations but Bisley are a good brand, expensive, but worth it.

As Monsoon says don't buy cheap. What about a second hand office supplier?

    That's an idea - I'll have a look.

It's for a home office so it needs to be a nice looking wooden type one. Definately go for quality over newness but all depends on the price.

I have used furniture @ work. They have some cheap stuff on there which is rubbish but some of it is good quality.

I have used this one and it's about 4 years old http://www.furnitureatwork.co.uk/WebConnect/MainServlet?storeId=FaW&catalogId=webconnect&langId=en_GB&action=ProductDisplay&screenlabel=index&route=015280.015350.016678&skip=1&productId=14874

They are pretty heavy duty but it may be worth going for one a bit higher quality.
    Regards,

If you're storing client files in it you may want to consider a fireproof cabinet, sorry don't wish to alarm lol

I agree that ebay is a good place fo good value, however, my first port of call is always the charity shops. You need to search and examine carefully but not only do you get some good stuff you are being socially responsible as well. It's still tax deductible as well.
