I have been asked to give a price for doing the p&l, balance sheet and fixed asset register for a dog club that is a not for profit organisation.

The bookkeeping is already done, its just the year end accounts to be done.

No dividends are issued to members, it stays in the account - they generally make a loss or a very small profit

I am fine with doing the accounts but dont know what to do with them as far as HMRC are concerned - they are registered as one of the committee who has asked me has told me he has had a letter saying the contact office for HMRC has changed, but I dont know how they should be submitted, if they are needed to. He said no tax has ever been paid as they generally dont make money

Anyone dealt with anything like this?

And also any idea of what a reasonable charge is? Dont want to charge too much as I have a full time job now so my self employed work is minimal, plus this is for my boss' father!

Thank you
