How leanient are exams marked

in AAT Level 4 (Level 8 in Scotland)
I sat ACCA F8 last week and was horrified about the irrelevant parts of some of the exam. Does anyone know if these papers are marked leaniently or not. I asked ACCA customer services but they just said feedback should be given through the feedback form. Very useful not:(

    Which parts did you find irrelevant? I sat this exam on Wednesday, and there was nothing in the exam that I hadn't seen before. The general opinion of students this week is that they feel the exam was fair.
