Our firm has been looking for two IT Apprentices for a while now.

Would you believe how hard it is to get any proper interest?

One was due for an interview yesterday but cancelled. Today cannot come in as hasn't got the energy.

It is a great opportunity to get training in this area.

I wonder if people get more on benefits than they do on apprenticeships pay..

    I'm surprised, we had a lot of interest in an IT job, even offers of voluntary work to get experience!

    Have you tried contacting colleges, could be the ideal place. People with training but no work experience.

    Blimey do people not know how hard it is to get a ANY job at the moment? If that person is on any type of benefit they should have then taken away immediately.

    Sometimes, i dont want to go into work, and would much rather have some more sleep, but to say that before you've even got the job is ridiculous! i hope you told them where to stick it! lol
