Dear All,

I have attended PEV/PCR taught courses at the BPP college. I am now getting started again with units 10/11/15/17.

I might have to go for the home study package for Unit 11 (DFS) and Unit 15 (CMCC). I think Unit 15 will be fine as based on skills and I should get enough evidence from work. However, I am a bit more concerned about Unit 11 and wonder if I should opt for the home study package or for the evening lessons (which are quite difficult to fit into my current shedule right now).

If you have used a home study package to go though module 11, would you recommend it?

Many thanks for your time anf your reply.

carole
xx

AAT technician....home study??
Hi

I'm sat here feeling sick waiting for the results of DFS and PTC.

I personally found DFS really difficult to get to grips with and only got it right at the very end (well hope I did - tomorrow will tell!!) I do not work in practice and don't come into contact with financial statements so it was a steep learning curve for me and I don't think I would have been able to teach myself it by home study.
What really baffled me was all the FRS's and SSAP's that you have to learn.

If you are very disciplined and good at retaining info from a book then you may be alright - but personally I'd have been stuffed!

Good luck with whichever you choose.

0 -
AAT technician....home study??
Hi every body,

I received my AAT intermediate result and Im happy to see that I acheived what I really deserve, however I'm little dissappointed bacause of two units (Working with computer & Health & safety) was showing as "not acheived"while I finished them in Foundation stage. I don't know what is the purpose of redoing them under the new standard when you allready passed them under the old standard is it to make as busier than now.

Please let me know if any body knows what is the difference between the old & new standard in these units.

thanking you.0
