Hi,
Just starting out got my 1st client end of Jan,http://forums.aat.org.uk/images/icons/icon7.gif dropped off paperwork 27.1.11, very small sole trader, but due to old accountant having log in for Self Assessment online, was unable to file, so filing soon but is due tax back, will he still be charge late fee?
Anyone who has had this any info would be great.
Thanks

The late filing penalty isn't technically cancelled, but it is reduced to the amount of outstanding tax at 31 Jan, so in this case it will be reduced to zero.
