I am so angry it's untrue because I feel sure they design the exams so those who are home study people can't pass.

How on earth can they do that???

    Grats mini_schnauzer on passing F4!

I'm sorry to hear about the non- passes, but look at the positive side, at least now the waiting is over and you know and can focus on improving the subjects for the next sitting! And yes, that's not so positive, cause it just means you have to study again, but just keep in mind why you started this study!

I took F8 home study and passed. I was quite surprised though, it was hard work. Have you thought about trying a more calculation based paper instead of struggling on with audit? I've taken F5, F6 and F8 so far and F8 was by far the worst!

To those who have failed - I'm sure lots of other people are in the same situation as you. I remember last sitting some of the pass rates were really low so you may not be in a minority. Maybe won't make you feel any better though but keep it up ....

Hey well done, new job and an exam pass! Celebrations are in order.

Congratulations to all of those with passes and bad luck to those who didn't, I'm sure you'll pass next sitting :001_smile:

May need to rethink your strategy for the June sitting.

    I passed F8 (63%) & F9 (64%) - all home study with BPP!

    Just ordered the P1 & P2 courses.

Well done to everyone who has passed.

Sorry Snau, I got the numbers confused!

Which is probably something best not said too often for someone working in finance!

Sometimes the ACCA site often encounters difficulties in accessing your results, but if you click on this link it usually works!

    Best of luck
    steve

Site still seems to be down, I've got some friends studying and they're getting in a bad way waiting for them!

Ditto - same score for me, also home study with BPP!! Lol.

I'm looking at F9 now, also home study, for the June sitting - seems to be going ok so far. Also taking F7 at college for the December sitting - had a look at a practice question today and have no idea how it's meant to be done in the required time, glad I'm not home studying that one.

Congrats to everyone who has passed.

    I took F6 & F7 in December and passed both (F7 just).

F7 is a real pain. I am a fast writer and quite fast with my calculations but i still wasn't able to finish it.

A bit of advice on that paper is that manage your time during the exam and do not go over it (even if you have not finished the question)

I got told by the teacher that is the best way to pass (very good teacher).

Congratulations to everyone that passed and don't give up to those who didn't.

I've still got 8 to go F5 is next the F8 & F9 in December!!!
