Unit 10 - Mentor?

I am not working at present and am concentrating on this project. I am at a loss trying to think of someone to name as my mentor in the absence of an employer.

Am I right in assuming that it can be anyone with any professional qualification? I have a friend who is a teacher, so is he OK?

Any suggestions as to what to put in "Notes of discussion between mentor and student on initial project plan"

Your assessor should be able to authenticate your work providing they have seen sufficient drafts along the way to be sure it's your own work.
