Well I have finally obtained my 1st client! this lady is actually doing bookkeeping for her friend - he is a vat registered plumber. She has just started and is using Simplex D accounts book and Simplex vat book, and she just requires a few hours to get her familiar with the books etc, so not bad for my 1st client.

I haven't used Simplex books but they look pretty straight forward, am I right in thinking this?

    Yes, I used simplex books for a couple of years after swapping over from Twinlock when I first started bookkeeping. As long as you are competent with double entry they are very simple.
