Partnership/directors of ltd company

Hey just a quick question,

I was just reading about partnership statements in APII, and was just wondering what the differences would be between 2 partners of a limited liability partnership (say a husband and wife) and 2 directors of a limited company (the same husband and wife).

I'm sure there is a real obvious answer, its just i am tired and the thought just came to me .
