How to buy a company name

Does anyone know the best way to buy a new company name, to be a subsidiary of ours?
Its not something I've ever done before. I've looked on companies house, seems you can only search for info and add info for your own company, but not buy one.
Many sites pop up on google when you put in you want to buy a name, but instead of taking my chances with an unknown site I was hoping somebody here would know.
thanks!

I have used Quickformations.com for years and am very happy with their service.
