12 Pay Help

Hi All

I know that a fair few of you use 12 Pay so I was wondering if anyone can help.

I have just taken on a new client who would like his payroll processing weekly, however he actually pays the staff on the Friday for that week, rather than a week in hand.

His first pay run is for week ending 8th April 2011 (for week 1 of 2011/2012)and he would like the payslips on Thursday 7th April, however 12 Pay wont let me set the payroll up with that date on, presumably because it is in the future.

Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this?

    Thats odd, I regularly run payrolls in the future on the software.

    Email their customer support - its really good and they will give you the right answer.

    I Keep getting a message that says this software is only for 2006 to 2011, I have paid for the new license for the next tax year but I am thinking that this could be the problem, do you have any idea if I need to upgrade the software for the new tax year.

    My other payrolls are only on week 52 at the moment so I have no idea what will happen with them when I update them to week 1!
