A client has just forwarded me their HMRC notice to complete a tax return. It is dated 6th April 2011 but all the green type is from last year i.e. Tax Return for the year ended 5 April 2010, last years filing deadlines and penalties explanation etc.
Anyone else had one of these?

Yes, there was a post on AWeb about it.
Apparently thousands of these have been sent out. HMRC admit they've put the wrong dates.
