Hi everyone!<BR><BR>I am currently doing AAT Foundation at college 1 day a week and i work in Accounts for a company for the rest of the week. I was just wondering if anyone has received pay rises when they completed their course. If so did you get one after you passed each level or did you have to get letters after your name before you was rewarded. Obviously you wont tell me how much, but i was trying to find out whether anyone has had pay rises because of doing the AAT course.<BR><BR>Any replies are appreciated<BR><BR>Thanks very much<BR><BR>Joe :-)

    Hi Joe,<BR>When I passed my Intermediate Level NVQ 3 I got a one off bonus payment of £250 but not an increase in pay as I don't work for a practice or company just a government department where salaries are fixed. If I go into a finance section after a year I will get a £1000 per year increase so long as I stay in a finance based post.<BR><BR>Andrew

    Hi joe,<BR><BR>I am currently in the same position your in, results tomorrow. I am not sure if i will get a pay rise but certainly a bonus if sucessful. I recieved a pay rise due to working five days a week when my exams were over. The company i work implement a £1000 a year pay rise due to improvement in working standards.<BR><BR>wayne

    I hope that you pass the exam. <BR>After all the hard work you deserve that! <BR><BR>In my case, there is no bonus pay rise or recognition whatsoever. <BR>My job is gone in order to save non-qualified QBE person for the employment.<BR>May be time to move on. <BR><BR><BR>

    Hi Joe,<BR>I have just finished the foundation course, going back to do the intermediate, and no I didnt get a pay rise, infact i am the admin manager of the office and the payroll manager, and he only pays me for the 4 days that i am at work, he says my salary is resonable but I disagree for the amount of work I do the wage i am on is total crap!!<BR>Best of luck if your boss gives you a pay rise I know mine wont be!!<BR>hells.
