Hello.
As a company we have just decided to charge a surcharge for customers paying by credit card. If we pay 2.17% can we charge more than this say 2.5%?
Never dealt with this scenario before and wondered does anyone know how to treat this as regards to Vat?
It is exempt on the invoice received from the card company so will be exempt when charging the customer I guess.
Card company charges the 2.17% on the gross totals, so do I work the percentage when charging the customer on the gross invoice total?
Thanks in advance.
