Please can anyone who has taken the VAT exam, advise what rate they are using please?
All our text books say 17.5% which is the old rate, and I wondered if the exam would have been updated with the new rate?
Many thanks,
GP

Hi GP
When I sat indirect direct in March the rate used was 17.5%.
Hope all is well with you and the rest of your studies.

Thanks, Jo,
We started the VAT syllabus today, and were wondering about it!
Tomorrow I am taking the Costings exam - I have spent hours on this one, and still get confused with the process costings! Then it will be lovely to have a long, relaxing weekend.
How are you getting on with level 4?
Best wishes,

Hi GP
There was a memo from AAT to say they won't be changing the VAT from 17.5% until August, this is when the new exams are wrote,

Good luck with your CBA - shout if you have any questions.
Level 4 is certainly a big step up from level 3 which many people have commented on here before. I am due to sit my first CBA mid/late May so all happening a bit quick. Thanks for asking
Enjoy your lovely long, relaxing weekend and chat soon.
