hi I have a list of assessable IAS's from my osboune books which are

    IAS 1, 2, 7, 8, 10, 12, 16, 17, 18, 23, 27, 28, 33, 36, 37, 38, 40

I would be interested in a list of assessable IFRS's too, I have made my own pass cards for the above to aid with revision.

Sorry i've not written the full names out!

It sounds sad and takes a bit of time but i wrote them all out in note form, sort of like pass cards i guess. This gives you the list you want and also the writing process helps you take it in more.

    Hi Guys,

    IFRSs 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 won't be assessable.

    Kind regards

    Hi Marie

The info I've got is that assessable IFRSs are:

    IFRS 3 - Business Combinations
IFRS 5 - Non-current Assets Held for Sale and Discontinued Operations
IFRS 8 - Operating Segments (which used to be Business Segments)

I found the list on page 89 in the Osborne book. I'm using cards too!

Thanks very much, when i first started reading DFS is looked like a different language but i'm gradually rereading things and some things are starting to make sense now, guess it's understanding why that is the key to remembering it!

Going to be a lot of practice questions for this unit to get confident with it.
