Word Count

Just a quick query, how can I print a word count to go along with my project. I know do to it in MSWord but it come's up the figure at the end. Is that what they want?

Theres an option to display word count in a box. Press the print screen button and then paste it into MS paint. You can them cut out the word count box and put it into your project document.

Is this needed? I've never put evidence of word counts in any of my work.

Yes you need to send word count along with the project. I send my project without it and they have send it back.

I added my word count to the front cover/first page of my project.

You can add the word count as a field in the word doc

Go to the insert menu then Quick Parts press field and select the field you want Words is
Numwords. gto update it Right click when you are on the field in the document and select update field.

Can you put it on disc also, so they can check it, because to me you could copy and paste anything to it, who is actually going to sit there and count every word.
